HVAC Installer
Service technicians perform field activities associated with installing, maintaining, and servicing heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems.
Responsibilities:
- Installation of furnaces, air conditioning units, and ductwork in residential and commercial settings.
- Assist with routine and emergency service on furnaces and air conditioning units. This includes a working knowledge of compressors, electrical troubleshooting all common types of boilers, furnaces, and air conditioning units.
- Ability to diagnose HVAC systems for electrical and mechanical defects.
- Cleaning, adjusting, repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
- Demonstrate an understanding of and adherence to all work safety policies, procedures, and governing requirements.
- Maintain and manage truck inventory and/or job toolboxes in an accurate, neat, and orderly manner as well as adhere to vehicle maintenance program guidelines.
Requirements:
- 2 years experience in basic service and installation of HVAC equipment preferred but not required.
- Valid Driver’s license and a safe driving record.
- EPA Refrigeration Certification preferred.
- Physically able to climb ladders, work at high elevations, and lift objects up to 50 pounds.
- Working knowledge of compressors, electrical troubleshooting of common types of refrigerants and heating.
- Ability to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays would be considered a plus.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance.
